I paint intuitively in encaustic and oil. I explore the human condition and life’s journey metaphorically through the interaction of sinuous biomorphic shapes juxtaposed and intertwined.  I also employ extreme texture in my work. Encaustic is the ancient technique of using molten pigmented wax which lends itself to these effects and also entices all the senses.
