My work represents an exploration of textural surface. Accidental, found surfaces as they might randomly happen
in the basement of an old yarn mill, in the day to day happenings of an iron foundry, or the platform of a Texas oil rig in 1916. An interaction human industrial activity,
nature and time.

Circular elements often appear in my imagery. Are these urban mandalas? Geometric devices? Universal mathematical symbols? Trajectories of thought? Perhaps they are just circles of paint. You know.
