Currently I am exploring Lowell, Massachusetts through digital photography.
 
Coming from a background of black and white film photography, the digital medium feels uncomfortably easy to me. For this reason, I do not allow myself any manipulations of the images I produce.
 
There is great beauty and many ghosts of the past to be found in the sometimes faded, sometimes restored glory of Lowell’s late Victorian, early industrial architecture.
 
Seeing things with fresh eyes sometimes means changing your literal perspective, so I often make photographs from a vantage point other than eye level.
