I have been drawing for most of my life and it is the key element in my work whether realistic or with subjects that become abstract during the process. Early in life I was interested in being a cartoonist and still have the many rejection slips sent to me from various syndicates. I attended Mass College of Art and studied portrait painting with David Lowery of The Guild of Boston Artists. My studio is located at Western Avenue in Lowell, MA.
